“Ember” is a 14.1 HH APHA Smoky Black Tobiano mare that is 6 panel N/N through parentage.
Ember is a home raised filly by Soulman Hudson Wood and out of Winnies Blue Odana a Blue Roan Tobiano APHA mare. We were asked a couple of years ago if we would sell Winnies Blue Odana and decided with seeing how this filly was maturing we would have no problem with her replacing her dam. Ember is a big well built filly with a clean head and good bone under her.
Her sire Soulman Hudson Wood is 15.2 HH, 5 panel N/N, and has been color tested Ee / Aa / CrCr. Soulman Hudson Wood is a big bodied nice moving horse, he traces back to Driftwood 5 times and carries 18.75% Driftwood blood, Joe Hancock 10 times 8.64% and King 2 times 0.88%. He has many greats in his pedigree with Driftwood Ike showing up twice on his papers as well as Speedy Man, and Lowry Star. Soulman Hudson Wood is a grandson of White Lighting Ike and Lone Drifter. He has been bred to work, and win in the arena!
Her dam Winnies Blue Odana is AQHA bred on the top going to Blueboy Quincy, Mr Roan Hancock, and on the bottom she had Class Time and Roan Bar 7 on her papers while also tracing to APHA great Blue Max and Canadian Exchage. Winnies Blue Odana has a good strong mix of halter and ranch and was always a good producer.
With Soulman Hudson Wood being her sure we will be breeding her to Driftincountrymusic in 2020 for a 2021 foal.
